Move-out cleaning typically takes 4–6 hours depending on apartment size. A studio takes about 3–4 hours, a two-bedroom 4–5 hours, and larger apartments 5–8 hours.
Do I need to be present during the cleaning?
You don't need to be present. You can leave a key or access code for the professional. The important thing is that the apartment is empty of furniture so the cleaning can be done thoroughly.
