Do I receive a certificate after the sweep?

Do I need to do anything before the sweep?
Make sure the fireplaces are freely accessible, the ash has been removed from the firebox, and the fireplace has not been lit on the day of the visit. Also ensure that the fireplace doors open and that the roof ladder is in good condition. The sweep handles everything else: protection, sweeping and reporting.
