A Finnish team with strong backing
Servido was founded by Finnish serial entrepreneurs Otto Laurila and Pekka Kinnunen, who combined their experience from successful software companies with a vision of how digital platforms can make everyday life easier.
The idea crystallized when Pekka spent hours searching for a window cleaner – and finally concluded:
“This should be as easy as ordering from Wolt.”
Otto, on the other hand, had researched platform economics in his EMBA thesis and seen firsthand through the success of Flovi Oy how digital platforms can efficiently connect customers and service providers.
In February 2026, four Finnish angel investors invested in Servido to accelerate the service's growth and development.
